The Quays Irish Restaurant Dublin Reviews
Nice place, pity of the neigbourhood... Jun 10, 2011
Right at Temple Bar Square there is a Quays Bar, two doors further down the road there is Quays Irish restaurant. Since this restaurant is located in the heart of Temple Bar, the place is severely crowded with tourists.
The menu is great though, it has some traditional Irish dishes like Irish stew, which Rens enjoyed a lot. There is also a separate vegetarian menu (ask for it when they deliver menu’s at your table), from I ordered the very nice creamy penne pasta. The staff is friendly and service is pretty quick considering the fact every table is usually occupied.
It’s a pretty nice place, it is just a pity it has to be located in such a touristy neighbourhood where the streets are infested with drunken out-of-towners who are celebrating a birthday or hen party.
