 Best Shopping/Restaurant Area in KC Aug 14, 2009
Nice area, has become a little more "mainstream" - like everything, everywhere lately - GAP, chain stores, etc. - but very nice for an evening stroll/shopping/dinner. This is where I would stay in the KC area.

Day Two in KC had me up early and doing my best to upload some photos before meeting Shawn for breakfast. It was such a crazy night -- and I was not entirely sure how to post -- but decided on the flasher theme for Day 1, launched it and off I…Plaza area of Kansas City and saw what is billed as the most famous fountain in Kansas City -- the JC Nichols Fountain. Nichols was a successful businessman in Kansas City that developed the Plaza area and a lot of the real estate in town… Kansas City Meet Up, Day Two: Fountains, Monuments, BBQ and More Drinks |

My temporary blog for today when I first started this was "Friday was a day of flashers. Mel first. RJ's pearly whites. Then Shawn had to flash his tats. Then Harriet. Oh lord, who's next?" Guess I should start fr…Plaza (downtown -- and not on the Plaza -- another confusing thing). I had booked through Priceline -- and thought I was staying at the same place everyone else was -- something with the word 'Crown' in it.
