The Picasso Chicago Reviews
Unnamed Sculpture by Pablo Picasso in Chicago Aug 15, 2011
The Picasso is well known sculpture landmark in Chicago. This sculpture is in front of Daley Plaza, Chicago. Just outside of Washington blue line station towards Dear-born street.
This sculpture is 50 feet tall and weighs 162 tons. History says Picasso has not charged any fees for this and gifted to the People of Chicago.
It is a three dimensional structure. Though Picasso didn't name this sculpture, same was interpreted in different ways from the look and feel of the shape from different angles. Baboon, Woman, Dog etc.. We can also see kids sliding down in the base of the structure.
This first modern sculpture in Chicago downtown loop, is definitely one of the sculpture to visit.
