The Perfect Wife Restaurant Manchester Reviews
Innovative menu for perfect dining Mar 29, 2014
N43°10.791' W73°0.641' Before entering The Perfect Wife, you have to make a decision between upstairs, the tavern, and downstairs, the restaurant. Although supported by the same kitchen, upstairs offers you pub staples, jukebox music, eating at the bar and screaming babies. Downstairs is much more sophisticated with tablecloths, nice cutlery and expert waiters. We expected serious culinary delights and were not disappointed at all.
The waiter, or server as they say in the States, gave us an excellent advice on white wine. We hesitated to order Californian wine by the name of Buena Vista because of its association with Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, but were surprised by its excellent taste. Spring roles as entrée reminded us of enjoying spring rolls on our visit to Vietnam. The quail and flounder main dishes were excellent surprises. Nice texture and perfect balanced taste. This chef knows how the fine kitchen. The desert menu offered excellent choice. We finished off with carrot cake. Overall we were deeply impressed, totally satisfied and found the bill of $120 in accordance with exquisite dining.
We awarded The Perfect Wife our top spot of best restaurant in New England during our three-week round-trip in august 2013. The Perfect Wife offers perfect dining.
