The Peppertree Boutique Hotel Mar 20, 2008
While The Peppertree Boutique Hotel is very expensive to stay at, I can heartily recommend it. I think it would be one of the best small private hotels in the district.
The graceful old wooden building; it was built in 1901, is a real colonial old home turned into a superb luxury hotel. The owners go to great lengths to welcome their guests and treat them like Kings and Queens. The Heidi and her husband, the owners, have their own small vineyard and produce their own brand of wine which their guests get to enjoy on the balcony while they watch the fantail doves strutting along the dove cote balcony. Very restful and relaxing. The garden is also very old fashioned with colonial type fragrant plants, and mature trees. Although I have not stayed at this hotel, I have visited often and been made as welcome as any of the guests. |
