Paul Rusch from Kentucky visited Japan to reconstruct YMCA in 1925. When He was a professor of Rikkyo University in Tokyo, he become an introducer of American football to Japan. Paul Rusch visited Kiyosato and built a Christian training institute, Seisen Ryo in 1938. After World War 2, he visited Japan again as a GHQ officer. He carried out pioneering support of a mountain village. So today at Yatsugatake, vegetables and Jersey cows'milk are famous. Paul Rusch was father of Kiyosato and American football in Japan.
