DC nightlife Mar 05, 2012
It really depends on what type of vibe you are going for and the night. You have the Park, Josephines, Eden, Shadow room, Lima which are downtown area. You have Adams Morgan area which has a lot of reggae and live music spots, then you have U street which has a lot of lounge type places. Cuba Libre and the clubs around the Verizaon center. There are just too many to name because new one's are always popping up. If you want more details let me know. Have fun on your trip!

An Awesome time! Jul 01, 2011
Well to start of with, was standing in the line with a couple, my friends from DC, and we were just asked to come in!!! haha the Que was quite long but a bouncer came along and asked us to step off line and come in.! that was soo cool for a start , the music is in 4 levels, you just have to switch floors to get the music that hits you well.

The drinks are pretty pricey but they you should expect this at one of the most prime clubs in DC. The crowd is terrific and parties till late. The music , well, you just got to go to the floor that makes you move the most.

A definite stop for a party monger if you happen to cross DC. Public transport is the best way to reach this destination and could take a cab back home. Parking is a problem even in late in the night in this city.
haha the glass is next to the sign…

Great spot of party with an upscale R&B crowd. Sep 02, 2010
If you are in DC and are looking for an upscale R&B crowd, The Park is usually a good spot to go. Sometimes, the crowd is a little young so you have to be sure what night you go. The Park sometimes hosts private events or sponsored happy hours and so it can be really crowded. In the summer, with all the things to do in DC and all the places to go, the first floor or the outdoor patio in the back is usually pretty crowded; the 2nd and 3rd floors offer a little more space to stretch and crowd watch. The macaroni and cheese and the jerk wings are to die for! so order them if you go, but dont order bottle service (we did it for a friends' birthday din din-first off, it's never worth unless you just have the money to spare and second, wine should not come in a bottle with a twist off cap!!!)

Like many places, it is a restaurant by day and a club by night. Although the floors are small, there are 4 of them. The crowd dresses well, so please don't show up in jeans. Parking can be a little rough, but it's right in the middle of downtown, so a cab shouldn't be hard to catch.
