The Pandawa

The Pandawa restaurant at the Mercure Resort was one of my favorite places to eat in Bali! Its hours are from 06:30 to 23:00, with 24 hour room service. The restaurant has an open stage which features dinner with shows on certain days. They specialize in European and Asian cuisine. We only ate here for our breakfast each morning, but if breakfast is any indication of what is on the menu for lunch and dinner, those meals must be pretty good, too. The variety and selections were incredible; from pastries and bread, fruit, and cereals to pancakes/waffles, specially prepared eggs, meats, and just about any kind of breakfast side dish you could ever want. They also have many fresh juices.
But the variety is only half the story, because the food was delicious! And the bonus to all of this is that the Pandawa sits right by the beach and pool. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere; it didn’t ever seem to be overly crowded (but maybe that’s because we were always down there early), and after finishing with breakfast it was always nice to drink your coffee and enjoy the view.
