The Pacific Recreation Kamp Real Reviews
Surfing and Camping at the PaRK. May 17, 2014
The Pacific Recreation Kamp, also known as The PaRK, is the quickest remedy for a beach getaway when budget is really tight. It is suitable for day trippers and to those who wants to stay for a day or two. Think about camping and surfing in one place. Amazing, right?
The PaRK has an area where you can pitch your tent or you can rent tents from them for a minimal fee. Aside from renting tents, you can rent a house as a whole or just the rooms. The resort is a 10-minute walk to a Talipapa (public market) where you can buy fresh sea food at reasonable price.
Aside from surfing, I enjoyed their white water rafting (I'll have another review for this).
To get here, from Sampaloc, Manila, ride a bus from Raymond Transit to Real, Quezon. Usually, they have daily trips to Real but to make sure, you may call the bus terminal at 733 93 80. Travel time is around 2-3 hours. Fare at that time was 200 pesos.
While on your way to Real, you'll pass by the picturesque Laguna Lake and the scenic Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges. Beautiful, right?
Entrance fee at the resort varies depending on how long you'll stay there. If you plan to stay overnight, for adult, the fee is 50 pesos while for day trippers, it's 35 pesos. Tent rental (good for 2-3 persons) is 500 pesos. By the way, the campsite has a common bathroom, a shower area, and grill stations.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The place is indeed beautiful and is really clean. Resort staff are very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up!
