The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Travel Reviews

Dec 09, 2007
So, you have just arrived in the city of cities and you are more than ready to explore it, when all of a sudden you feel a pain in your back (most likely from the long, uncomfortable flight) and now the idea of walking down Broadway seems like a dream of the past. Take a deep breath, relax, and then just take a quick taxi ride to the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Clinic (PCOM) for some healin’.

PCOM is a community-oriented teaching clinic established to provide the students of the school with a professional setting in which to complete their internship requirements for the Masters programs in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Interns are in their last phase of a rigorous four-year program taught by experts in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and current Western Medical practices. Each intern is closely supervised by a highly educated and skilled licensed acupuncturist.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a holistic system that treats individuals for a wide variety of physical, emotional, and psychological concerns. It promotes, maintains, and restores health by encouraging an even flow of energy, or qi, throughout the body. When qi is disrupted, pain or illness can result.

As a PCOM intern, I can confidently say that you will have a powerful experience there. Where else can you get an effective and very low-cost treatment? On average, more than 450 patients are treated each week.

Do not let a backache keep you from enjoying you travels! To schedule an appointment, see the contact information above. There are also two other PCOM locations in San Diego and Chicago.

TCM treats each person as an idivudal, so it might only take 1 treatment to see results or it might take 5. There is no way to judge. But, usually people see some kind of positive result/s after the 1st treatment. I would love to needle you Amanda. :)

OK, so we'll have to talk. I always swore this is something I wouldn't do (I'm a little freaked out by it) but if I was EVER going to try it, it would be with you. Can one visit really do anything though, or is it something where you need to go a lot of times?
