OK, so this state lurrvs the fact that they were convict-free way back when. But does this really mean that everything has to be soooo sllloooowwwww?

SA is a beautiful state, with some of the best wine producers in the world. But, on a weekend when the rest of the tourism world is gearing up for a busy and profitable weekend, SA shuts down. That's right - all the vineyards shut. Restaurants closed. Hotel bistros and restaurants shutting at 9pm!

This is not a way to encourage travel domestically, especially when the last lot of data shows that more and more Australians are heading overseas.

So, go for the scenery and go for the food and wine, just only expect to be able to enjoy these Monday to Friday from 9-5pm.
