The Old Spaghetti House Mandaluyong Reviews
T*O*S*H Apr 14, 2011
There’s this one particular guy on MunchPunch.com who says the Old Spaghetti House branch in Robinson’s Pioneer is one of the worst he’s been to. Well, I’m not sure if I share the same opinion. But what I can say is that you must definitely try TOSH vietnamese garlic pasta ;¬)
The Old Spaghetti House is not bad. Slightly on the higher end of the gastro-dining-choices at Rob. Pio., but I would have to say it is one of their lower end branches in the Metro. (I mean. C’mon. It’s Robinson’s Pioneer. People don’t go here for a stroll. They go here if they really need something. Like. Really.)
I had their pepper-corned fish with pasta & sundried tomatoes. It was good. But I wouldn’t exactly recommend it, if you get my drift.
Their vietnamese garlic pasta though is something that you must try at any TOSH outlet. The first time we had it at the Rob. Pio. branch though it was on the dry side. So make sure you ask them to not make it dry & not be shy on the olive oil.
Between this & other Italian restaurants though..? (Say, Italianni’s?) I would definitely say go for Italianni’s. There’s only a little difference for the buck, but a great distance in taste & service.
There’s nothing special at TOSH, really. Not even their spaghetti…
