If you are going to Budapest ,and you are between the ages of 26-40, then the Old Man's Pub is the place to be. This has got to be the best hangout in eastern Europe. Great food and drinks, live music every night,and after the live music is done they got 2 small dance floors for you to let it loose. The atmosphere in this place is just incredible, and the bartenders look like Hooters girls. No better place for a Friday night, or any night. It is mostly a 30's crowd, no kids. Don't leave Budapest without visiting this place.

There are lots of Budapest locals here and it seems pretty popular among a young crowd for dancing, drinking, and partying. When I went there was a live band playing. Definitely wasn't folk music, but I'm sure the lineup changes...
