The convent, built for French nuns in 1911, is now a B&B owned by fifth generation New Zealanders, Judith and Jenny Hughey and Gordon Cockerell. The owners' backgrounds are in journalism, house restoration and human rights legal work. You will enjoy good conversation, chatting about New Zealand, and genuine hospitality.
