The Oasis Hotel Cairo

During my round trip in Egypt I was resting for 4 nights and 3 days in the 4 star Oasis Pyramids Hotel in Giza, Cairo. The hotel is very beautiful and I especially liked it that it isn´t a big massive one-big-building complex but splitted into many bungalows, which are all at earth-level and seperated into small blocks by many gardens and parks with palms, other threes, artificial lakes and water fountains. The crew is very friendly. The lobby is very elegant, and right beside the main hotel entrance there is a small souvenir shop and a bank. The hotel has 2 main restaurants, the "Beduin" buffet restaurant and the "La Terassa" italian à la carte restaurant. Plus, there is an open air night club which is lighted by night by lighted palms, and there is live music played. It also features the Ambassador and Safari Club, two other clubs and the "Thristy Camel" bar. The pool is very nice, and when the night has come they put a water fountain in the middle which is lighted. Sadly you are not allowed to swim in it when the fountain is put up. The meals were very declicious, in both restaurants. For breakfast you had a full range of things to choose for eating in the Beduin buffet restaurant. And there is a shuttle service 3 x a day which can bring you into Cairo´s center.

This hotel turned out to be better then what we initially thought it would be like. This place is located North of the Pyramids and somewhat away from the city, but overall great service. The rooms were big and clean. Food was great too. Nightly entertainment and security was always on site.. For a 4 star, I would say its a good deal!
