The Nile Cafe Manitou Springs Reviews
Manitou's First Hookah Jul 02, 2009
Located just a half block away from the Penny Arcade, The Nile Cafe offers a variety of Mediterranean treats like tazaziki and baba ganoush.
When I was looking for the contact details, the Independent local events newspaper didn't have much in the way of compliments to give the eatery. I thought the service was great and the food was good...maybe not great, but I'd eat it again. Janice thought the tazaziki was on the watered-down side, but I thought the flavor was good and perfect for a lite snack. I might have liked to have some soft pita pieces in addition to the crisps, but I loved the flavor regardless.
The fact that they serve dinner till 10pm is a bonus for me since there are few places that are open late for supper. I just found out that the flavored tobacco that they use in a hookah is without nicotine or tar. That might be fun to try next time I'm in there!!
