The Naga Village Nov 27, 2013
We drove approx 4 hours from Bandung to reach Tasikmalaya, the scenere heading to this place are surrounded by great volcanic mountains such as Mount Papandayan, Mount Gallungung and Mount Guntur. There are no entrance fee to this area, but there are a local guide there that is available to show us around the village, heading down to Naga Village we have to go down stairs approx around 400 steps, we will pas through rivers, forest and local residence who lived there. From a far distance we could already see the amazing traditional houses of the Naga Village, the your guide showed us pretty well and gave us detail about how the local lives and also how the houses and the activites the people are doing and making, we manage to enter to one of the Kampung Naga houses thats showed us around, everything is so simple and eco friendly, no electricity much used in here, is as if people are still living back in the olden days, as we walked passed the village we can see how the women are making some traditional local crafts, we can see how the houses below are build for chicken and hamster to live and many others, he also show us about the rice paddies, very interesting and lovely place great culture and friendly people
