The Museum of Évora
The Museum of Évora Evora Reviews
Has some interesting archeological objects Sep 11, 2010
The Museum of Évora is conveniently located between the Cathedral Sé and the Roman Temple and it’s well worth a look. It is housed in the former 16th century Archbishops Palace and is very nicely decorated. I especially liked the way how they integrated old arches and columns into the building. The collection of the museum is not that big, but has some interesting archeological objects. The top floor houses a collection of paintings. Half an hour to 45 minutes should be enough to have a good look at the entire collection.
