The Museum Cafe
The Museum Cafe Athens Reviews
A Cafe Within Your Reach Mar 05, 2013
As I've mentioned on my review about the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, exploring this museum would take longer time (and enthusiasm, and patience of course) due to its considerable big size and thousands of displays to look at. Times like this, you will feel the need to quench your thirst and crave for food at the onset of your visit, or even after. As in the case of this museum, you don't need to worry about it, as there is a MUSEUM CAFE.
The cafe is conveniently located downstairs. The seats are available both inside and out of the cafe. The interior design is simple but quite impressive. Sitting outside the cafe is so relaxing as there is a courtyard garden. Different varieties of foods are available. They even served a light lunch menu. The staffs are hard to smile but I don't put then to a negative side - maybe it's just because they are too busy attending the many guests (it's lunch time when I got there).
Well, the museum cafe might just be a typical cafe but one thing good is that you don't need to go out of the building to eat, and come back again to continue your journey on the museum.
Right at the left of the entrance door of the cafe is another door leading to the souvenir shop where you can find sort of souvenir stuffs making your visit complete.
