The Mongolian Barbeque Dublin Reviews
A unique dining experience Mar 30, 2013
I've been here twice for lunch and I really enjoyed it.
Its quite a confusing experience the first time, especially when its busy, but the staff are helpful and I found that I just followed what everyone else was doing !!
First you are seated at a table then you to go to the buffet, where you pick up 2 bowls - one is for the meat and the other is for the noodles and vegetables.
This is because the meat is raw and you shouldn't mix raw meet with anything.
You can then add sauces and spices (be careful- some are quite spicy !!) to your noodles/veg bowl and then watch as the staff BBQ it on a huge hotplate in the centre of the restaurant. The cooks will put it all in a big bowl and you take it back to your table to eat it ! Its an interesting experience watching them cook the food which is very delicious !
Prices: Lunchtime deal (12pm - 4.30pm) 5euro
All you can eat stir-fry (until 7pm) 12euro
Desserts and starters - 4euro
Beers are 4.90euro a bottle or 3 for 12e, 5 for 18e and 10 for 30euro but they also do wine and soft drinks.
I definitely recommend it for lunchtime - a big bowl for 5euros is really good and I always go away feeling full.
