The Mill Inn Travel Reviews

Jul 17, 2006
The Mill Inn had its beginning in the early 1890s when Capt. Scott K. Snively built a single grain elevator. Over the years it has seen many owners. It burned down and was completely rebuilt and modernized.
In the mid 1970s the milling operations finally ended. The world had changed and it was no longer profitable. In 1974 the sale of the property changed it. The actual mill building was remodeled into a 45-unit motel and the tower was converted into office spaces. The Mill Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The conversion was done quite nicely and this Hotel now is a fine three star facility.
The internet access is only available in the lobby.
The breakfast in the morning was a real complete breakfast. There was even an elderly gentleman there to help people prepare waffles. He took your order, asked how you liked it, and did all the work himself, even though it was supposed to be a self serve. This was his baby. You could tell he loved it.

If I owned a hotel or restaurant chain, I'd hire you and your wife to go review my properties! You always do such a great job.
