The Lookout Bar and Grill Belfast Reviews
Lookout for St. Patricks Day Mar 17, 2011
I have never been here to eat only to drink and be merry. The interior is not very large so when the Lookout is in nightclub mode seats fill up qucikly and then its standing room only.
The Lookout is the only nightclub like atmoshpere you will find in Belfast or the surrounding areas unless you drive to Rockland or Bangor. For this reason it is attractive to many people.
In the back there are two pool tables, but if you are going to play pool be warned that the waits can be lengthy, and the pool tables are crammed into a space that is just a bit too small to fit both comfortably.
Sometimes they have a DJ, they had a jukebox or some automated music playing system pumping out some club style music.
Once it gets into the later hours of the night the staff will pile the tables and chairs into a corner so they can use the space as a dance floor. We were asked to move so they could do this; however we were on our way out so it didnt bother me too much.
Overall it isnt a bad place to hang out if you are into the club scene. Oh yhea and done be consfused if you have to park between some boats because this place is right on the waterfront.
