A beautiful walk any time of the year. Oct 16, 2014
One of the many entrances to Windsor Great Park, a 5000 acre deer park, is The Long Walk. It begins at the Park Street entrance, at the gates of Windsor Castle, and stretches for 2.64 miles (4.26km) to Snow Hill, atop which sits a statue of King George III (more commonly known as "The Copper Horse").

Lined with beautiful old oak and horse chestnut trees, The Long Walk is a sight to behold any time of year, but particularly in autumn. It's the perfect place for a picnic, or continue on around the Windsor Great Park for some other amazing sights and views of the surrounding towns.
