The Lokha Legian Hotel, Restaurant & Bar

It is a homie new hotel located in the heart of Legian Kuta Bali, well known as Padma street. With the minimalis design, the hotel offers us a cozy place to stay and relax in the middle of the crowded Kuta.

You can find almost everything in this area: hotels, the street shops, bars, restaurants and 24 hours mini markets. The people selling things here are not as agressive as the ones in Legian Street, so you will not be too much bothered while walking. And it is only 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the beach. You will need to take a taxi or moped to go to central Kuta for about IDR 20,000 to Discovery mall. Or, you can walk if you want, about 20 to 30 minutes :D

I stayed in a twin bed room (deluxe) on the second floor and got the free 15 minutes massage near the pool :D. They have a nice swimming pool (the super deluxe rooms with king size bed are located at the ground floor facing the swimming pool and have their own terrace and garden).

The room is pretty big, with queen size beds (yes, two queen size beds), 21 inch TV, refrigerator and a small terrace with swimming pool view. The bathroom is very nice and clean.

When I went there in 2007, the rate was IDR 350,000 per night (for Indonesian). Now is around IDR 400,000 to 450,000 per night for Indonesian and for International tourists is at least USD 70 per night.
