The Kremlin and storage of bags Travel Reviews

Need to know to save time May 04, 2008
Whilst being in Moscow for a mini break we decided to visit the Kremlin.
After purchasing our ticket we went to queue up at one of the entrances. When we got to the point where we needed to be checked we were told that we couldn't enter as my husband had a rucksack. We had to walk all the way back to near where the other entrance was to store the rucksack and had to pay another amount to do this (can't remember now how much this was). The woman at the kiosk never told us this when we first bought the tickets!!
Also the place to store the bags is tucked away on a side path so is not visible at all. Small bags/handbags are fine.
It's best to ask about the location of this if you think you might need to store your bags when you first buy the ticket but as we didn't know about this we couldn't.

Well that was just unnecessary.
