The Kilkenny - decent place for rock music Nov 15, 2013
The Kilkenny Pub in Buenos Aires' downtown area is an Irish pub designed and decorated in the old Irish style. They have the traditional Irish beers on tap as well as a few craft beers. The craft beers were a little pricy, if I remember correctly 45p for a pint. But I have to admit the one I did try was quite good. They also have a full menu of pub food if you get hungry and it seemed that the kitchen was open late.

according to one person I talked with they usually have live music every night and it is usually rock-n-roll bands. The band that was there the night I visited was decent and played rock cover songs all sung in english.

Every city has an Irish pub and Buenos Aires has more than one, but if you're looking for a decent beer and some live music this place is a decent option.
