The Irma Freeman Center for Imagination Pittsburgh Reviews
Yoga Flow Dec 07, 2015
I went to a meetup yoga event at the Center for Imagination tonight. First of all, I absolutely love the name as well as the story of the woman it is dedicated to: Irma Freeman.
It's interesting, although I've lived about 5 blocks away from the center from 2011 to 2013, I never ran into the yoga culture there (I went to a gallery across the street), but I have to say that the space is airy and beautiful, the floor is heated and beautiful slate and you are doing yoga while surrounded by impressionesque-type art. This exhibition happened to be of summer time - so I felt transported.
I think they did a phenomenal job with the art gallery, and although I don't quite appreciate the brush strokes in this exposition, I will be back for more yoga-art viewing in the future!
Part of the list Places to Explore soon.
