The Irish Pub is a real Irish pub in the middle of Ipanema in Rio. Forget your American Irish bar this is a pub. And its Irish.
Run by a Corkonian and with the friendliest staff you can imagine the place actually feels like a pub and not a bar. The locals and expats drinking there are friendly and full of good tips and advice. Watch your favourite sports and meet the world famous Celtic Supporters Club. Buy a tee shirt and help the orphanage and boys soccer teams they fund. |

Suddenly I remembered I saw an Irish Pub in front of the park of the hippy market. I wasn’t sure about the other places, and the Irish Pubs are always fun, so we went there. Although it was a Sunday night, there were a good number of people. Not super… A garota in Ipanema ;) |
