Despite its featureless name, The Inn is a charming and comfortable bed and breakfast in the southern part of San Francisco. The building, which was built in 1872, used to be a Victorian mansion, and despite all the modern improvements you would expect in any hotel or contemporary residence, it still retains a certain old world charm. After the earthquake in 1906, most of the city was burned down, but the fires stopped a block away from The Inn, preserving it for our touristic pleasure.
The innkeeper, Marty, runs the place with his wife and a small staff. Marty is a San Francisco native and has as much character as the inn itself. He is gregarious, friendly, and does a good job of making sure all his guests feel like they're at home. If you want a unique, charming, moderately priced place to stay in San Francisco, you won't be disappointed in The Inn.
