I think I may have reviewed this place before, and if so, rightly so! There is a shuttle bus from the airport which can drop you here for $10 SG from the airport, but just to give you some idea of the discounts this place has on offer, you can book a shuttle to the airport from here for just $6.50 SG. They also offer discounts for the zoo and night safari, Universal Studios, and several other attractions.

With free 24-hour internet, tea, and coffee, a free breakfast, free guided tours, and free lockers, I have never even considered staying anywhere else in this city on all of my visits. It’s very sociable and being based in Little India, it is only a short walk to any of the major attractions or the MRT station.

It’s spotlessly clean with ample facilities and has very nice, helpful staff, typical of Singapore.

Awesome hostel Mar 16, 2011
This is a great place to meet other travellers. The hostel offers scooter tours, a fun way to see the city. The front staff spoke english very well when I was there and were very knowledgable about how to get in and around the city as well as the cheap ways to get to Maylasia. They offer hard boiled eggs and toast free in the morning. The only thing that I didnt like was their PCs with internet. The net would always be down on those machines. But other than that good hostel. Defiantly would stay again.

In the centre of Little India Mar 08, 2011
I stayed in this hostel for only 2 nights, but it was cool because it was the first place I arrived in since a few months that had a nice kitchen and a homey feel. Staff wasn't always overly friendly (depended on the person you talked to obviously), but they did help you with what you needed. The only downside is that I was in the 2nd building, where there was no internet and you had to run from one building to the other every time you forgot something (and in my case, that can get very annoying :-)).

But all in all: cool place!

I stayed there. About 3 or 4 times actually. It's the only hostel in Asia I've been back too!

Convenience in Little India Apr 10, 2010
This hostel would just rate as average in my book... you are a few blocks from the nearest subway station... the rooms are hot hot hot in the summer... they only turn the a/c on during the night (which may be standard for most hostels)... I believe the rate was about $20 US per night, which I felt was reasonable... average breakfast in the morning (toast and hard boiled eggs)... staff is very friendly... bathrooms were relatively clean... I'd recommend this hostel to someone who is looking for a cheap place to stay and doesn't mind sweating a bit lol...
