Beautiful hotel near the U of Penn campus May 22, 2008
The Inn at Penn is a beautiful hotel located on the University of Pennsylvania campus. The lobby and rooms are decorated in a mission/prairie school/art deco blend that joins to create a warm, welcoming space. The hotel is now owned by Hilton, but hasn't lost its unique charm and has simply picked up the trademark Hilton amenities (comfortable beds, Spa brand toiletries). The room was spacious and included the typical amenities (hairdryer, coffeemaker, large tv with pay-per-view), though wifi access was not free.
The location may not be ideal for someone looking to see the sights of Philadelphia, but it is perfect for someone visiting the U of Penn campus. Several coffee shops and restaurants are located within walking distance. (stayed March 2008) |
