The Hurricane Grill Vancouver Reviews
Great place to people watch Jul 11, 2010
Made breakfast plans with my friends Shemya and Jenny.
Okay, let's get past the ugly sign on the outside. Inside is relatively decent and we had no problems with the service.
The food is,..."American Grill". You know, burgers, steaks, the usual suspects that we are to expect from the big chains.
They jacked their prices way up for the Olympics. 14 dollars for a regular hamburger.....are you kidding me ? Looks like
the owners came back down to earth as well as the prices.
The atmosphere is relaxed. The seating and tables are arranged comfortably, and the service was great. Anytime my water was half way down, I was getting a refill. Enough TVs, positioned well, so that everyone can keep an eye on the big game today (Spain vs Netherlands).
A great place for drinks and snacking. I can't wait to go back and try the nachos (another table had them and they looked amazing).
The location is awesome, the biggest draw for me is the patio, big and overlooks False Creek. It is great for people and dog watching in the summer. It is very low key and relaxing compare to a typical Yaletown restaurant.
Our breakfast was great !
