The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei

The Howard Plaza Hotel's staff was so amazingly friendly it was almost unbelievable. I think I only got to press an elevator button once because every other time a member of the staff was there to press it for me. The room service staff helped out when we asked for extra towels to take to the hot springs. The one that amazed me the most was when the concierge refunded our bus tickets when my friend's uncle got us a car service to the airport.

The breakfast that comes with the hotel is a buffet and you can choose between a western buffet or a traditional buffet. The western buffet included an omelet bar but other than that, it wasn't too exciting. We only ate it once. The traditional buffet was quite tasty and I had red bean paste buns until my stomach was content.

We also ate at the traditional Taiwanese food restaurant and it was delicious!

It's 2 blocks from the subway and a great shopping district. It's also walking distance to one of my favorite places, the Jade Market!

My only complaint, and its a small one, is that the beds were very hard.

Overall, it was a great experience and I loved staying there!
