The Hotel Katowice
The Hotel Katowice Reviews
Time travel to the 70s! Mar 29, 2009
This hotel has a good location in Katowice, close to the train station, Hala Spodek, Rynek and the city center. It's located in a building that must have been built in the 60s or early 70s and hasn't been updated much since. The furnishings are also vintage, including cool red dial phones hanging on the walls in the hall! However they keep things clean and tidy albeit a bit shabby. Felt more like a student dorm than a hotel.
Check in was fast and efficient and the reception staff was helpful with information about Katowice and how to find our way around. Breakfast was included in the room rate of 240 PLN (weekend rate - the same room costs 270 during the week). It's served in a nice dining room overlooking a park. The breakfast buffet was pretty complete, had cereals, breads and rolls, eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, salads, juices, coffee and tea. Part of the Poland travel blog

No problem finding a vacant room in Katowice. I think it would only be a problem if there… Katowice |
