The Hotel Chichen Itza Reviews
Great View of the Observatort at Chichén Itzá Nov 30, 2009
The Hotel & Bungalows Chichén Itzá offer three types of accommodations. The standard rooms are large with large tile bathrooms. Each room is air conditioned with mini bar television with cable and a coffeemaker. The suites are atop the main building each comes equipped with a 2 person Jacuzzi and a terrace. The views from these rooms are great. The Bungalows are large stucco buildings with thatched roof. They are scattered around the large well landscaped grounds. This facility includes 2 restaurants, 3 outdoor swimming pools and secured guarded parking. The Hotel & Bungalows Chichén Itzá offers a baby sitting service, tour desk, room service and a laundry service. I have stayed in both the standard rooms and bungalows. Both were excellent and of good value. Low season rates for the standard room is about $100.00 per night, the Suites and Bungalows begin around $170.00 per night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The tour desk personnel are very knowledgeable and milti-lingual. The eastern entrance to Chichén Itzá is a very short walk from the Hotel & Bungalows Chichén Itzá. I would definitely stay here again budget permitting.

The Hotel Chichen Itza Overview
The Hotel Chichen Itza is located in downtown Piste, a very colorful and typical Yucatan town less than a mile from the main entrance to the archaeological park of Chichen Itza. At the main square there is a beautiful XVI Century Franciscan Chapel. Hotel's privileged location allows our guests not only visit the archaeological site, but to get in touch with the locals as well. Hotel Chichn Itza, as the best option in town, offers comfortable, recent remodeled rooms, a swimming pool, a sports bar, and an air conditioning restaurant -with capacity for 300 people simultaneously- where regional specialties are daily served from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
A wide variety of regional dishes are cooked as per the original recipe following the highest hygienic standards. Our guests and visitors will be able to discover the Yucatan food and experience first-hand the exotic ingredients that make Yucatan cuisine so unique. We do also offer a selection of vegetarian dishes. Hotel Chichn Itza staff will do their best to make our guests feel home. It is with no doubt, the perfect option to visit the attractions that have made of Yucatan a world class tourist destination.
Come and discover one of the most interesting and hidden tropical zones near Mayaland. This area was the formerly camping area of the American Archaeologist Edward Herbert Thompson who dredged the Sacred Cenote of Chichen Itza from 1904 to 1910. This Tropical Forest area is called The Thompson Rehollada where ancient Mayan water collectors are visible and can be appreciated when you explore the Well during the tour. Native flora and fauna are also appreciated. Tour length: 1:30 minutes. Tour leaves every day from the front desk at The Lodge at Chichen Itza. Reservations can be made at the Concierge area.
Surrounded by our beautiful gardens, Natural Spa is the ideal place to relax and be pampered where you will find soothing treatments and thoughtful service provided by a professional staff.
Enjoy these services in the nearby Hotel & Bungalows Mayaland
