However that became uneventful and I ended up at the hotel safe and sound. He actually wanted to exchange my greenbacks for Bolivares and I ended up getting almost double over the official exchange rate. Finally, after a very long and delayed flight I now find myself in a 5 star hotel in Caracas - payed by the airline. It's totally fantastic.
Thursday night and I'm in a warmish pool drinking a Pina Colada whilst grey skys slowly cross the nightly heaven.... it's gonna be a GRANDE trip.
