The Hotel At Times Square New York Reviews
For New York, this was AMAZING! May 14, 2008
Third time I had been to New York City, but the first time I actually decided to stay on Manhattan Island. For how much it cost, and where it was located, my mother and I definatly got our moneys worth. Its located is two blocks over and only one block up from Times Square and only three blocks away from Fifth Avenue's shopping haven, and for only 250 a night during christmas shopping times, THIS IS A DEAL! I did go again the next year and looked into this hotel, unfortuanly the price did go up a bit, but still its worth checking it out!

There's two ways to celebrate New year's eve parties in New York City - Either in Times Square or with Times Square. Much maligned during the rest of the year by New Yorkers as a tourist infested over-priced trap, Times Square comes into i…Square. Its better if you can find a hotel which already has elaborate party arrangments, so all you need is a private table.

As you all know, hotels in NY can be quite expensive. Many are run-down, don't have proper a/c, and many don't even have elevators. To our surprise, we found a turn-of the century hotel on 77th & Broadway that proved to be a real bargin. I…Hotel Belleclaire. It's only two stops away from Time Square and reasonably priced. But, you need to book way in advance. We don't recommend going to "cheap" route when lodging in NY. All the cheap stuff is just that, "cheap, dirty, and uncomfortable… Thoughts from our 2008 NY Trip |

Jenny and I stayed up late in Hawaii for the 1998 New Year's Eve celebrations when we lived there in 1995-1999. On that fateful New Year's Eve, Jeff asked Jenny where we should celebrate the Millennium next year after we moved to Washington DC…hotels in the city far from Times Square priced themselves at 3 times the normal room rate.
