The Hostel Edinburgh Reviews
Cheap Mar 10, 2012
As in every hostel, there was lots of people there crammed in a tiny space, very noisy at night, rooms really teeny tiny, bathrooms and toilet not really that clean (depends on your standards of cleanliness though, also the door to the bathroom didn't really close so you felt a bit 'exposed'), no sockets in bedrooms (I had to carge my phone in the common areas, which meant I had to sit there when there was nobody to talk to and really I wanted to be somewhere else, but of course, I had to, too afraid of someone pinching my phone). On the good side, very close to the Haymarket Station (just opposite), walking distance from the city centre (if you can be asked to walk 25 mins), the reception open long hours, you get your own key to open your room (no curfew), quite good common areas, no problems with leaving your luggage in there after checking out.
In short, it was everything what you would expect from a hostel for a low price (£12 per night).
