A spectacular view from Titikaka Lake Apr 02, 2008
As entered in the description of the town of Copacabana is a site of pilgrimage and devotion to the Virgin Mary that is venerated in the temple of the town.

But for tourists although it is a place of transit to La Paz, is a very attractive place to be located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, is a place to relax, sunbathe, rest, eat a good meal of lake trout, and to enjoy a number of pubs and meeting points.

There are two walks recommended to go, the first to the Calvary, although it is tiring, but the view that it is beautiful.

Another walk tour is the called erroneously "Hanging Inca" "La Horca del Inca", it is at the top of the hill named "Kesanani" in the near of the town, and there are three large stone cross, and the view of Titikaka Lake is spectacular, and it is one of the most interesting pieces of ancient pre-Columbian, and it is an astronomical observatory with all the elements that allowed verify the solstices and equinoxes, according to the archaeological verification effected.
