Wow, the Netherlands is one of my favourite countries on the planet. And I dont say that lightly. I get giddy just at the thought of the place. I've spent a lot of time in the Netherlands but this was the first nibble I had of this delicious buffet of beautiful scenery and the 2nd most likeable race on the planet! I was there on business for a full month and it also set the scene for my love of Europe.

Paris, France -› Brugge, Belgium -› …

Hi Everyone,
I may be the worst blog writer in the history of blogs.......
Den Haag was so cool to see, all of the sights and foreign sounds. Straight out of a movie. My favorite is crocketta or bederballen (spelling who knows?). Similar in flavour to Swedish meatballs, they are balls of meat…

Denn Hague, political capital of The Netherlands, has a sleepy town feel on a Sunday. A couple of lovely squares lined with funky cafes gave me the impression that this would be a cool place to chill out with friends on a sunny afternoon, but in terms of sightseeing there didn't seem to be muc…

The second of the jam packed days began around 11:00am. The plan: Snowboard. Yes, snowboarding in July in The Netherlands. You’re probably thinking that it’s impossible, but not when the slopes are indoors. It was even below sea level! After a quick breakfast, we hopped on the tram that took us …

The other capital city of Netherlands. The administrative centre, the parliament based city. A small city, and a quiet one too with its reliable tram system. A short tram ride through the city and we found the Vredespaleis (the peace palace). This place in Carnegieplein is not opened for tourists, …

Went to Den Haage for the day, met up with a friend and walked around the city of Embassies. It was really beautiful (despite the weather) and even though I failed to have a 'culture' day I still had a really great time!
