The HOLY GRAIL sports bar Reviews
sports bar/THEATER Mar 13, 2008
Wow, i forgot about this place. Saw an All Blacks game there when it was absolutely PACKED. I could not believe how big it was. It must have been some kind of old theater converted into a bar. There was stadium seating in front of the huge screen, and god knows how much more was up there, it looked like a lot though. Wish I showed up early so I could get a seat. Warning: standing room only for all blacks games, especially against the aussies.

OMG!!!! IT IS MASSIVE!!!
It truly is the holy grail of all sports bars.. It has 3 levels, with the main bar on the first level and two smaller bars on each other level. It also features a restaurant on the second level (which we unfortunately didn't get chance to try), and has a couple of pool tables on the 3rd level. The MAJOR draw card of this place is the massive projection screen, which is awesome when watching a big game, because you can see it from just about everywhere... and just in case you're stuck behind some tall person who is blocking your view, there are smaller screens on the side walls... Worth a look inside, even if you're not a sports fan!!! |

Yesterday was spent wandering around, getting my bearings and looking
for somewhere to buy an Eee PC. The evening was spent sampling the
