I never knew the Grand Canyon had a village, but they had hotels and restaurants and everything. You can actually stay at the Grand Canyon in a hotel! Whoa, I never knew that! (haha, I didn’t!). The lodge had a little restaurant in it, and we were hungry… The Grandest Canyon of them all |

Our guide decided to make on hour walk just behind the grand canyon so we could enjoy the canyon from above. After this experience it was time to go to our hotel. We did not have a hotel in the Grand Canyon itself (perhaps a pitty), but we stayed the night in Williams. … Grand Canyon |

So this day we got up really early - 7:30 was when we left
the hotel - and went to the Grand Canyon.
The nice thing about going in the morning was there was NO traffic at
all once we were out of Flagstaff, AND there was plenty of parking at the first
few stops after the guard station. We
