Cantilever, Csatle of the Winds, Devil's Kitchen - wow! Nov 26, 2010
I have deliberately avoided use of the welsh name (Glyderau) because this review is not about the whole range but just the two called Glyder - that is to say Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. Why? - because I have a profound distaste for some of the range from when I walked it in mist as part of the 14/15 peaks walk (review) and I have done a separate review of the splendid (though smaller) peak of Tryfan.

The Glyders as I use the term here are nothing when seen from the Snowdon side - or rather they are boring grassy humps - which is why I have linked them with Bethesda rather than Llanberis - because seen form the Nant Peris pass on the north side they are simply superb.

What makes them so are, above all, the three features of the title to this review, all towering above Llyn Ogwen, one of my favourite lakes anywhere.
