The Frederick Dublin Reviews
Just an average place Sep 24, 2004
The Frederick was acceptable if you just need a place to lay your head. There was nothing wrong with it but on the other hand there was nothing exceptional about it. Here's a basic write up of what they offer.
The Frederick Guesthouse is an 18 Century Georgian building located at the top of O'Connell Street just 5 minutes walk from the City Center. Attractions such as the Hugh Lane Gallery, The Dublin Writer’s Museum and the James Joyce Center are just around the corner.
Our central location positions us close to most of the major attractions including Trinity College and Temple Bar putting them within walking distance for the visitor.
We are happy to advise on tours, restaurants, attractions and the night life in Dublin. Wherever we can we will try and steer you in the right direction.
We offer our guests newly refurbished budget accommodation at very competitive rates. All of our bedrooms are equipped with multi-channel televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, minifridge, are centrally heated, cleaned daily and have their own private bathrooms.
The Frederick Guest House offers a selection of different room types including a limited number of backpacker rooms and also offers kitchen facilities for large group bookings. All rooms are bright, clean, simply decorated with original pieces of art by local artists.
The write-up makes it sound more appealing than it is. I would only stay there again if nothing else was available.
