Itaewon, South Korea
The Flying Pan Blue - A veggie sandwich and side salad
The Flying Pan Blue - The kitchen where the magic happens
The Flying Pan Blue - Typical cutsey Soko cafe style
The Flying Pan Blue - Love the fresh flowers on each table
The Flying Pan Blue - Me eating something good. (back when I had my 'frohawk' cuz it's impossibly humid in Korea in the summer...)
The Flying Pan Blue - Don't remember what this was called but it was a ton of mushrooms. I remember it being pretty good.
The Flying Pan Blue - The biz card.

Great place for gourmet brunch in Itaewon May 08, 2011
If you're looking for a cheap and greasy meal, this is not the place for you. The Flying Pan doesn't do anything just plain and simple. For example, they offer a "smoked salmon eggs Benedict and ham and brie cheese French toast". Yeah. Intense. I know.

Everything I've had here has been incredibly delicious. The portions are huge, and since you're in Korea (where I've seen 4 girls split one small meal) you'll definitely save money if you go with a friend. The dishes are a bit pricey, especially the drinks, but when you consider the fact that not many places in Korea offer American style brunch, you will easily drop 14,000 KRW on a sandwich. Brunch is served all day and the lunch menu is also quite impressive.

The place is small and is very popular on the weekends so the wait might be a while. The atmosphere is really chill and always nicely decorated with fresh flowers. The staff is friendly and speak English pretty well. The bathroom is inconveniently outside, but many places are like this in Korea.

Overall a great place for brunch and well worth the trip to Itaewon.^^
