The Flying Pan Blue Itaewon Reviews
Great place for gourmet brunch in Itaewon May 08, 2011
If you're looking for a cheap and greasy meal, this is not the place for you. The Flying Pan doesn't do anything just plain and simple. For example, they offer a "smoked salmon eggs Benedict and ham and brie cheese French toast". Yeah. Intense. I know.
Everything I've had here has been incredibly delicious. The portions are huge, and since you're in Korea (where I've seen 4 girls split one small meal) you'll definitely save money if you go with a friend. The dishes are a bit pricey, especially the drinks, but when you consider the fact that not many places in Korea offer American style brunch, you will easily drop 14,000 KRW on a sandwich. Brunch is served all day and the lunch menu is also quite impressive.
The place is small and is very popular on the weekends so the wait might be a while. The atmosphere is really chill and always nicely decorated with fresh flowers. The staff is friendly and speak English pretty well. The bathroom is inconveniently outside, but many places are like this in Korea.
Overall a great place for brunch and well worth the trip to Itaewon.^^
