For the first time we have enjoyed going to the fisherman for one of our friday night dinners. the second time the service and food was iffy but we tried again this year. Never again. Service was slow and abrupt. Food was mediocre at best. As we were leaving the restaurant, several employees leaving for the night were laughing and talking and yelled across the parking lot, that pretty much summed up our experience. Mediocre food; poor service; no bargain. Sad that one of our favorites has come to this.

we ordered the calamari with balsamic glaze with marinara sauce. it is always the best. i would either order the roasted new zealand rack of lamb or the tournes du chef (8oz. filet mignon topped with lobster & bernaise sauce)

my bf would order the black angus glod prime rib the captian's cut (20oz) or filet mignon (8oz) & shrimp scampi

then we remember why we don't come here more often. the entrees are overpriced. the filet mignon (8oz) & shrimp scampi is only 3 small pieces of shrimp and it was dry. the roasted new zealand rack of lamb is only 3 small pieces. each entree is . $26 - $28 i would not come back.

Esker Piont is so much fun in the summer, every Thurs they have free concerts on the beach, we sometimes took the saiboat around and listened from there.
