Great Bed and Breakfast Mar 20, 2008
This was our second trip to The Fairbanks Inn and we can't imagine staying at any other b&b in Provincetown. Innkeepers Alicia and Kathy made us feel like family. They are friendly and down to earth and saw to it that we were comfortable. Our room was wonderful, spacious and beautifully appointed. The housekeeping staff was charming and attentive and kept our room sparkling clean. It was great to have a gas fireplace in our room after a breezy, winter walk at the beach. Breakfast was generous and delicious -- especially the hot out of the oven muffins! The Fairbanks Inn has a great location --- right in the middle of town, and a short block over from Commercial Street. We walked to everything. We look forward to our stay at this quintessential Ptown b&b.

I love P-town every month of the year, and so have stayed at the Inn nearly every month. This is a grand old Inn with updates that retain the charm. Having breakfast in front of the main fireplace in the winter and spring can't be beat and the sun porch where breakfast is served is perfect too. Alicia and Kathy go out of the way to make sure you have what you need. They've been coming to P-town for many years before becoming innkeepers so they now the spots to go as well as best kept secrets about the Cape. You can't beat the location either - smack in the center of town, but tucked away so you don't feel like you are in crowd during the height of the season. I've also checked out many of the rooms and there is something for everyone. They are all different - some tiny and some penthouse style. You can't loose either way as you also have access to the common areas if you are sticking close to home and not headed for the beach, dinner, or people watching on Commercial Street. Check it out. You won't be sorry!
