The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt London Reviews
A great activity for both young and old Mar 07, 2012
The world´s biggest Easter egg hunt is on. It started on 21st February. For 40 days and 40 nights London is the home to 209 giant and uniquely crafted Easter eggs for the "Fabergé Big Egg Hunt" raising funds for Action for Children and Elephant Family.
Join the hunt for these giant eggs, which are exclusively designed and decorated by some of the world´s leading artists, architects, jewelers and designers. If you would like to be the owner of one or more of them you can join the auction on their website.
The winner of the egg hunt will receive the Grand Prize, The Diamond Jubilee Egg valued at over £100,000. For a chance to win, you must seek out the 209 giant decorated Easter eggs around London. To enter you must text the keywords at every egg you find. Text entries are open until 3rd April. The winner will be chosen at random.
At first I thought it was a good activity for children, but beware, before you know it you are hooked too and it becomes an obsession to find as many eggs as possible.
Between 3rd and 9th April you can discover the entire collection in one location when The Covent Garden Palza hosts the Grand Eggstavaganza!
I got really hooked, but it was pure luck which once I found since I did not know where to look for them. If you decide to give it a try I recommend you to get on their website and print the maps. They don´t give you the exact location, but they give you the area.
