The Essex Vermont's Culinary Resort & Spa Essex Junction Reviews
Best place in town.. Apr 01, 2008
I have stayed at the Inn at Essex many times during my travels to IBM in Burlington for business and loved every single night of it. I even lived in this hotel for about 40 days once will working at IBM.
The cost is a bit high but for me was average due to the fact that for the service and what you get, its well worth a few extra bucks. Especially on a long trip and comfort is priority #1. I was on a Corporate rate, which was cheaper then the Holiday Inn and Comfort Suites, even with their prospective discounts!! If you are traveling to IBM call ahead and they may offer you a discount as well!
The hotel has a Culinary School attached to it and there is always something new and good to eat on the menu! Be sure to hit up the bar for some drinks and very good dinner!
The Breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a hotel and I definitely recommend the Blueberry Pancakes!! Best I've ever eaten and nothing beats fresh maple syrup from the heart of Vermont!!
There is a small shopping center nearby with some outlet stores and a movie theater. On your way into town there are several small Mom & Pop style restaurants that beat any big $$ place I have been to!
One of my all time favorite places to stay!!
