The hotel suggested to me was the Wolcott on 31st St, 3 blocks from the Empire State Building. And if the hotel was any indicator of the value of teh advice I got, this was going to be a darn good 24 hours.

I wanted to go to a dive rooftop bar, frequented by locals in Korean town, there is a bar on top of the hotel that has the Empire State Building overlooking, or rather towering over and dominating the view. But it was still closed! Hmmm... Next choice: 230 Fifth. One of the more popular rooftop bars in NYC, 230 Fifth is located on Fifth Ave between 26th and 27th… Summer Humidity = Rooftop Bar |
